The North Esk River forms parts of the traditional lands of the Pallittoree people from Lutruwita Tasmania. Standing on Country’s natural indents on riverbeds and streams, one can look out across both directions the water takes. Through the ebbs and flows of tides, returning fish and travelling inhabitants of the surrounding Country, seasonal changes and environmental turns can be seen. Moiety (balance) is found in the knowledge offered by Country and her solitude.
