Uncle Nick’s early childhood was spent between Deloraine and Rossarden, a tin mining town tucked beneath Stacks Bluff and turapina (Ben Lomond). Kanamaluka (Tamar River) connects to Rossarden through plipatulima (South Esk River), witakina (Nile River), and Story’s Creek. Uncle Nick centres his cultural practice around the peaceful spirits of waterways, and the history demanding to be heard just beneath the surface.
