Isaiah Columbine is a Melukerdee Man of the South-East Nation of trouwunna (Tasmania), however was born and raised in Victoria on Bunurong Country. The art Isaiah creates (which mainly focuses on painting, pyrography, and woodwork) draws inspiration from the community he was raised in and the landscape he grew up around. Isaiah has worked in the cultural education space since he was 15, taking what he learns from his Elders and from Country, and teaching it to others. These relationships with Country and its many inhabitants (plants, wildlife, and community), and the teachings that come from them, are where all his artworks are birthed from. He then simply creates for the love of it, and hopes you enjoy his creations as well.
