“My piece plateau takes inspiration from shapes and patterns in nature from Narungga county. I wanted to capture the shapes and patterns from the dried salt flats and the erosion form the beach cliffs. Our County is costal with large salt flats, beach cliffs and mangroves. I wanted to interpret these patterns in an Aboriginal style to highlight our deep connection to the land and how land and culture are both intertwined.”
