Aunty Marice Henare-Gleeson is a proud Yorta Yorta Elder and lifelong creative practitioner. Aunty Marice was Baluk Arts’ featured artist for NAIDOC week, in an unarchived exhibition of works from the past forty years of her practice. Aunty Marice has spent her personal and professional life caring for young members of community, contributing and leading moves of change and activism within the youth justice system and health. Today, she continues her creative labor in the form of reviving her past practice. We are proud to represent Aunty Marice in the revival of her storytelling.
