Boundless Plains was inspired by my journey from Adelaide to Port Augusta in November 2024, exploring the history of the Afghan Cameleers. The flowing linework reflects the trails they travelled across rugged desert landscapes, while circular motifs mark key meeting places including Adelaide, Port Augusta, Maree and Broken Hill. This piece honours migration, endurance and cultural exchange, celebrating those whose journeys forged lasting connections across Country.
