“This piece was inspired by a 22km coastal walk, carrying a single can of Solo is in honor of my Pop. Sitting by the crashing waves at the end of that journey, I felt him with me. As the painting came to life, the layers of colour took on a new meaning, reminding me entirely of my daughter, Gracie. Overall, the painting is a deeply personal landscape—a quiet moment on the beach where the past and the present meet.”
